Outer Banks, North Carolina – Part 1

Those that know me know that I am all about my family, both immediate and extended! Family, whether related by blood or chosen, are the only “things” in life that really matter. And since life is so short and precious, they’re the only “things” really worth investing my life in. So after a long, difficult, and busy summer, we carved out time for family the past few weeks with our trips to Juneau and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We stayed in Duck, my favorite town in the OBX. One pretty evening we all got dressed up and walked down to the beach for some family portraits! And, yes, this was planned ahead of time! :)

This is my side of the family, if you can’t tell just by looking at us. ;)

Trying to get a one and a half year old to take photos on the beach is impossible, just impossible! Ha ha! But, I love the photos that we did get.
