Blog Launch Day!

I am SO excited to launch my new blog today! This is a huge part of my heart! Something that I have been working on for a long time and dreaming about and planning for far longer. Creating and maintaining a blog for my photography business is a goal that I have had for quite some time, but with my business and our family growing over the past year it has been put off. That’s okay though, one step at a time! I tend to be a “leaper” and jump into too many things at one time. I am learning to set “SMART” goals and work steadily to achieve one at a time. My goal is to do a blog post for each engagement session and wedding that I photograph so that you all can keep up with what I am currently doing as well as get an insight into the beautiful love stories and lives of my clients and friends! I will also be posting some personal articles from time to time to share about my life, family, and friends so that you can get to know me.

Here is a visual overview of my adventures from last year!

Our maternity portraits were captured by our dear, talented friends Hans and Nicole Photography. Here are a few of my personal favorites.

We welcomed sweet, healthy, happy baby Noah at the end of 2012. He is such a blessing! Here are a few of my favorites of him so far.

This is one of my favorites of him as a newborn! It’s like he’s waving and saying “Hi, mom! I love to have my picture taken!”

Noah got to meet his great-great grandmother a few months ago. Can you tell just how healthy, physically and mentally, my great-grandmother is?! Something to be extremely thankful for so I wanted to capture the first moments of them meeting. How precious is this?!

Five generations!

Noah was dedicated at our church recently. Here he is looking out at the crowd. Ha ha!

This is one that I did as a gift for Justin for Fathers’ Day. Noah was smiling and laughing the whole time! I have him trained well already.

Hasn’t he grown so much so fast? Well, there’s an overview of this past year for our family. I hope that you enjoyed the photos and Noah’s precious smiling face! I will be posting blogs featuring my recent photo shoots and work soon, so stay tuned!

For anyone who would like to follow along with my blog I would be incredibly honored.
